Muslim Products Online

There are currently 1.6 billion people on earth who practice Islam and identify themselves as Muslim. Like most devoutly religious individuals, there are certain traditions they are expected to follow. For instance, Muslims must dress accordingly and must follow dietary laws.

Muslim dietary law is known as Halal and it is similar to the Jewish practice of keeping Kosher. Basically, Halal lets Muslims know what foods and substances they are permitted to consume as well as those that are strictly forbidden. For example, pork is off limits, while other meats can be consumed if the animal is killed or slaughtered correctly.

According to recent estimates, about seventy per cent of Muslims follow Halal food standards, which means that there are over one billion people in the world that need produits musulmans each and every day.

Of course, these products are not relegated to foodstuffs. Many Muslims also dress in traditional clothing, such as Hijabs, Abayas and Jilbabs. And thanks to the internet these articles of clothing are available to Muslims everywhere. After all, if you reside in a part of the world that has a small Muslim population it may be extremely difficult to find traditional Muslim clothing.

Specialty items like a Sajjada or Musallah (Muslim prayer mats) are also available online and can be shipped just about anywhere, even overseas.
